 FAQs

  • Therapy appointments are offered on weekdays from 9 am-6 pm and subject to availability. Reach out using the contact form above to learn more and book your session.

  • Imago Georgia is "out of network" with all insurance plans and does not maintain contract agreements with any health insurance providers.

With that in mind, we are happy to provide statements of service in the form of a "superbill" that includes the information required by insurance companies for you to self-file for out of network benefits.

Please check with your insurance provider regarding your benefits, as plans and coverage can vary.

  • “Imago” is the Latin word for “Image.” As human beings, we tend to have a specific “image” or imprint of the type of romantic partner we’re seeking. Without meaning to, many of us choose a partner who is uniquely qualified to frustrate us. Our brains subconsciously attempt to recreate situations from our past, so we can solve and heal unwanted relationship patterns.

Many of us were raised to believe in the idea of “happily ever after.” Imago Relationship Therapy sees frustration and conflict as a natural occurrence in our lives and relationships. Through the intentional dialogue we support clients in discovering how that conflict can lead to healing, and ultimately a closer more meaningful relationship.

  • After decades of experience, training, and countless client sessions, our answer is a wholehearted and enthusiastic “yes!”

  • Imago Georgia offers therapy both in person (at our Atlanta office in Inman Park) as well as virtually to clients within the state of Georgia.

Group support sessions vary. Some sessions meet in person, while others meet virtually.

In 2022, all of Imago Georgia’s workshops and professional trainings will be offered online via Zoom only.
